Welcome to St. John’s Episcopal Church
Centered in Christ | Rooted in History | Compassion for All

We are an active and historic community church, openly welcoming all who walk through our doors. We recognize each person as an individual sent by God who will enrich our lives. On Sundays, we come together as the people of God to celebrate the life and message of Christ. Our service is founded in the Anglican tradition and embraces the modern world. We hope you will honor us with a visit and we look forward to sharing God’s love with you.

A special #BlackHistoryMonth commemoration service and festivities will be held on February 27, 2022, with special musical ministry and prayerfulness to stir up the spirit that nurtures our souls.
February marks the beginning of Black History Month. Black History Month is about more than our history; it is about the future we will create. It is a time for all Americans to reflect on the significant roles African Americans have played and continue to play as we ensure our community strives to be like the Kingdom of God, built upon equality, diversity, inclusion, and LOVE. As we celebrate, let us all remember the words of the amazing writer, poet, civil rights activist, and memoirist, Maya Angelou, “You can’t really know where you are going until you know where you have been.” We must not forget our history as we create the future. #BlackHistoryMonth
