Annual
St. John’s Episcopal celebrates holidays in both secular and non-secular ways. The Christmas season gives us a chance to experience the advent season and culminates with evening Christmas Eve candlelight services. The church children have performed a retelling of the story of the birth of our Lord.  For fun, we have gone caroling as a parish. The women of the church sponsor a popular holiday luncheon each year.

Church dinner at StThe Easter season begins with a pancake supper the day before Lent starts. Services are held and ashes given on Ash Wednesday. During the Lenten season parishioners can participate in a weekly program accompanied by potluck suppers. Holy week services are held each evening the week before Easter.  Easter is welcomed with a special Saturday service. An Easter Egg Hunt is held after the Sunday service.

The first Saturday in Epiphany is our Ladies luncheon. We start off with a potluck lunch and then we have a gift trade off. Everyone brings a wrapped gift and after lunch draws a number and when your number is called you either pick a new package or “steal” one that has already been unwrapped. It's a fun-filled day for all!

Our church also participates in a community Thanksgiving service.

The Independence Day celebration. Every year the church sponsors an entry in the parade and watches it together on our front lawn.

We hold a few fund raisers during the year, such as our May Market and Fall Flea Market.
